These are the men in my life:
I have been in love with the tall one since I was 15 years old - lucky for me he felt the same way. Now nearly 14 years later here we are with two miniature versions of ourselves that we have both loved before we even laid eyes on them. Brad is a self described "onion" (thanks for that one Shrek writers). He has so many layers that people are constantly surprised by him. The bottom line is that he is a kind, funny, caring, man who would do anything for me and the boys. He is a genuinely good person who is driven to do what is right for his family and his patients. He may not show his emotion frequently, but that doesn't mean it isn't there. He is probably the smartest person I know yet rarely makes anyone feel less intelligent in his presence. He understands my sense of humor and loves me anyway.
Mike is an amazingly moody yet hilarious two year old. He does extremes REALLY well. He can go from extremely happy to extremely upset in the blink of an eye because he wanted you to put the other shoe on first; but at the same time his capacity for love is astounding. He freely gives hugs and kisses to everyone around him and frequently tells us he loves us. He is a popular guy and is routinely met at the door to his daycare classroom with kids yelling his name and running over to give him hugs. He is developing a sense of humor and will laugh wildly even when he has no idea what is so funny. His memory is amazing. He remembers people and the relationships they have with one another. He will carry on full conversations with me about what he did at daycare each day.
Ryan is simply amazing - as all babies are. He becomes more alert and awake each day and his head and neck control is rapidly improving. He tolerates Mike's affection without the blink of an eye and brings us all such happiness.
