Mike is such a boy. He has already learned how to make fart noises...or more socially correct "blow spit bubbles".

Over 1000
So I've had over 1,000 visitors since I started this little blog and I'm pretty sure than only half of them are my dad (hi dad!! don't worry I'll post some pictures of the baby below. I know that is the only reason you look at this...don't try to deny it). So that got me thinking who else has looked at this? Random blog stalkers? Probably (or am I just trying to flatter myself that random blog stalkers would spend anytime here???). Friends who occasionally mention something about a post? Definitely. Not sure who else, but hopefully you enjoy the copious quantities of cute pictures of my little boy (occasionally my husband is in the picture because he is holding said cute boy, but I generally end up cutting part of him off. See here, and here). And on rare occasions I end up in the picture. Generally this only occurs when 1) I take the picture myself (these usually end up a little out of focus, uncentered and one or both of us had odd expressions on our face) or 2) I hand the camera to Brad and force him to take a picture (ok, ok I ask him nicely. But sometimes you would think I was attempting to pull his teeth out when I ask him to take a picture). Ok, I'm done with my tangent now. Anyway, whatever your reason for coming here I hope it makes your day a little bit brighter! And here are some pictures as promised (dad, did you read all of that, or just skip over it to get to the pictures???)

for the record, my lovely sister, Sarah, took this last picture.

Sarah
I love my sister. She is awesome and hilarious. Part of her hilarity is the random things that fly out of her mouth. Here are some examples.
On Mike: "Don't you just love the crap out of him?"
On Springtime: "It's like a party in my eyeballs"
On her purse: "It looks like a goiter" and "it's not a goiter until you plug it in"
On me in aviator sunglasses: "you look rebellious in those, like a COP!"
Thanks for the great weekend we will miss you (and the prizm).

4 month stats and photoshoot
Mike was 4 months old last Friday. Here are his stats:
Weight: 15lbs 4.5oz
Height: 26 inches
Head: 43 cm
He is about 75% percentile for both height and weight.
Here are the results of photo shoot attempt #2 (see results of attempt #1 here). I'm not as happy with these as with the 3 month pictures, but they will do in a pinch.

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh my!
Today marked Mike's first trip to the zoo (I think all of Saint Louis was there to celebrate). We saw lions, tigers and bears as well as many more members of the animal kingdom. We even had the privilege of seeing and hearing a little zebra love.
It was a hot day...

The best laid plans...
Mike is 4 months old today. I can't believe how fast he is growing. I thought it would be fun to do a little 4 month photo shoot outside today since the weather was so nice. Mike was happy, laughing and smiling, Mike loves being outside...usually. As soon as we got outside and I laid a blanket in the grass he started screaming. Oh well, maybe we will try again tomorrow.

Easter Weekend (Mike's Perspective)
This weekend I went with mom and dad to Kansas City to spend Easter weekend with Chris' family. We had a lot of fun. We got in around 8:30 on Friday night and Chris got me up to KC code right away with his Royals hat. It was a little big, but I'll grow into it eventually.
On Saturday morning we went to breakfast with Paul and Colleen. I wore my camo pants especially for the occasion because I thought Paul would like them.

On Saturday afternoon Ann got everything together so we could dye Easter eggs. I wasn't quite sure what was going on, but mom made me this great blue egg with my name on it.
On Easter morning we all got to open our Easter baskets. Ann made sure I got some good stuff, here I am reading my name card.
After we were done opening our baskets Chris taught me about Rambo by using the argyle ribbon that was on one of my presents. I'm so stylish aren't I?
For brunch we went to the country club. It must have been fancy because mom made me wear a sweater vest and button down shirt.
Here I am with Katie. Everyone seemed to think I was pretty great because I got passed around the table like a hot potato!

A dog and a bunny: A tragic love story
Dog meets bunny.
Dog loves bunny.
Dog plays with bunny for almost 2 weeks (a record for dog).
Dog and bunny get in a fight.
Dog kills bunny.
The end.
