Today my baby is six months old. I can't believe he is that old and at the same time I can't imagine (or hardly remember) life without him. He is still our happy, happy guy. He loves food, animals, water and Mike (not necessarily in that order). He is a studious little fellow and will sit quietly playing with his toys for eons longer than Mike ever did (or has). He brings such joy to our lives! Happy half birthday Ryan, we love you so much!

Catch up
Hi! Mike and Ryan here. Well mostly Mike because Ryan keeps trying to lick the keyboard. Sheesh babies. We decided to take things into our own hands since mom can't seem to find the time to let the world know what we have been up to. Things have been great around here. Mom said something about quarter end and being busy, blah blah blah and dad said something about being on "spine" again - whatever that means, but the bottom line is that Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and things have been awesome! I got to stay home with grandma almost every single day. Don't tell her, but I have her wrapped around my little finger. I say jump - she asks how high. Ryan is still learning. We need to teach him that adults generally don't appreciate being puked on, but he is well on his way to being as spoiled as me.
Anyway, so grandma showed up and we did all sorts of great things like go to the Magic House:
Do tons of arts and crafts (including this custom made pip-cleaner hat that I made - Ryan is being a really good model):
We even went to the zoo...twice!!! Once with mommy and once with grandpa:
Grandma took me to playgrounds and storytime:
And Grant's farm where we found a girlfriend for Max - her name is Maxine:
And then everything got even better (how is that even possible - right) when Grandpa showed up!!
Ryan was so excited he started eating real food. He says he really likes it.
Love,
Mike and Ryan

Sweet Suite
Someday we are going to have to actually pay for tickets to a sporting event. But not yet. The Warlicks are still ridiculously spoiled when it comes to baseball games at Busch Stadium. Last Friday we got tickets to the Peabody box (we get them about once a year). Braving a temperature of 108 is much easier when you can retreat into and well decorated, air-conditioned room stocked with food and drinks.
Mike has two cardinals shirts. I told him he could pick which one he wanted to wear. He picked Fred Bird and got so so so excited everytime he saw Fred. As we were leavig the stadium one of the employees gave him a Fred Bird trading card - he treated it like it was a $100 bill.
Ryan even got into the game...at least he liked sitting on my lap and watching all the people.
Three reasons why I am a lucky, lucky girl.

Little Fish
Last Sunday we were lucky enought to be invited over to a friend's pool to try to escape the ridiculous temperatures. It was wonderful to hang out poolside all afternoon. Mike especially enjoyed it.
