Last weekend the boys and I traveled to Florida unexpectedly with my mom to see her aunt one last time (Aunt Betty passed away early Tuesday afternoon). While the purpose of the trip was very sad we were able to find so many silver linings such as:
Reconnecting with cousins you haven't seen in years and letting them love on your babies.
Spending time with your great uncle.
Watching your babies love on your cousins.
Meeting cousins for the first time and having good conversations in the nice swing.
Going to the beach for the very first time.
Meeting your great-grandmother
Chasing the waves
Experiencing the joy of running on the beach with a two year old
Spending some good quality time with grandma.
Betty Bee we love you and miss you. Thank you so much for bringing us all together again.
