I love the circus. My parents use to take my sister and I when we were little and I always loved it. Until last Sunday Brad had NEVER been to a circus before. When I found out The Barnum and Bailey Circus, AKA the "Greatest Show On Earth" was coming to town I got excited...real excited. Brad didn't get it. He was skeptical of the whole thing, but as many of you know, I'm persuasive and I usually get what I want (what...it's true), so off to the circus we went. I assured him over and over that he would like it and Mike would LOVE it. They were not disappointed. The look on Mike's face as soon as the eight (yes eight) elephants paraded out was worth the ticket price alone. He was mesmerized during the entire 2 hour show. He excitedly clapped, he cheered, he danced, he LOVED it. Brad has been educated and finally understands why I love the circus. His only complaint was "at times there was so much going on I couldn't watch it all." Within minutes of it starting he was smiling, laughing and cheering right along with the rest of us. We saw elephants and horses, zebras and acrobats, tight rope walkers and clowns, tigers and tumblers, and so so much more. Oh and what was even better, we were in the second row, so the elephants were mere yards away, we could hear the tigers growling and count the stripes on the zebra.
