Hiking With Grandma

While we were in Wyoming Brad went elk hunting with my dad; Mike, my mom and I (and later my sister)  hung out and did basically whatever we wanted.  There was lots of sitting on Grandpa's tractor, a train ride, hiking, baking and all around fun.  One chilly morning we made the drive up to Mirror Lake, after a rocky start (ha ha ha) Mike was convinced what a fun outing this was (fruit snacks may or may not have been involved).

While we were in Wyoming my mom treated Mike, my friend Nicole and myself to a ride on the Heber Creeper.   To say Mike was excited about the "Choo Choo" is probably quite the understatement, though I am not entirely sure he understood that he was on an actual train.  He did get REALLY excited whenever they would blow the whistle.  Our ride lasted about 90 minutes and included bandits and a robbery (go figure).  My camera never made an appearance so all of these pictures were taken by my mom.

I know I promised a recap of our trip to Wyoming, but things have been really busy around here and honestly I just haven't had any spare time.  Hopefully these pictures of Mike and grandpa Mike will tide you over for another day (or two...)
