6 Months

Happy 6 month birthday to my baby! I can't believe you have been with us for 6 months and at the same time can't imagine my life without you. We love you so much!

Pool Party!

On Sunday, Kari and Bill invited us over to try out Will's new swimming pool. As the temperatures had been in the 90s all week we packed up our swim gear and headed over. Mother nature decided to make things a bit nicer for the Saint Louis population on Sunday and the highs were only in the low 80s. We decided to "swim" anyway. So the boys filled up the pool with water and we let it sit for about an hour to warm up a bit. Well, it didn't warm up much. Kari, Will, Mike and I all got in and tried not to cry because of the cold water. The boys quickly came to our rescue by hauling multiple baby bathtubs full of warm water down to the pool. Once the water temperature was less frigid the babies were actually willing to play in the pool. Ah summer.

When we were in Wyoming a few weeks ago my dad made the comment that one of the reasons he was glad we were there was because he got to see Mike as he really was not just through my "Mommy approved blog pictures." I thought about this and realized it was true. I generally try to put the "cute" pictures of Mike up. Who wants to see the "rejects"? Apparently my dad. So this post is dedicated to the outtakes. You know you're a mom when...

You find it absolutely fantastic when you come home and find the other members of your household dressed the same.

As a side note happy birthday to my wonderful husband who is somewhere between 12 and 31 depending on who you ask.
