Monday Picture

While I was on maternity leave I send a picture of Mike to my boss every Monday. She doesn't really like Monday's so it was an attempt to make her day a little better with a picture of a cute baby. I like the idea of a picture on Monday. Maybe I'll keep it.

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh my!

Today marked Mike's first trip to the zoo (I think all of Saint Louis was there to celebrate). We saw lions, tigers and bears as well as many more members of the animal kingdom. We even had the privilege of seeing and hearing a little zebra love.

It was a hot day...

We ventured into the penguin house for a little reprieve from the heat.

Mike found the reptile house to be a little boring and decided to take a quick nap.

He was ready for the elephants though!

At the end of the day he found a very illusive and new creature...his feet (which up to this point had not been discovered).

The best laid plans...

Mike is 4 months old today. I can't believe how fast he is growing. I thought it would be fun to do a little 4 month photo shoot outside today since the weather was so nice. Mike was happy, laughing and smiling, Mike loves being outside...usually. As soon as we got outside and I laid a blanket in the grass he started screaming. Oh well, maybe we will try again tomorrow.

Beef, it's what's for dinner

Easter Weekend (Mike's Perspective)

This weekend I went with mom and dad to Kansas City to spend Easter weekend with Chris' family. We had a lot of fun. We got in around 8:30 on Friday night and Chris got me up to KC code right away with his Royals hat. It was a little big, but I'll grow into it eventually.

On Saturday morning we went to breakfast with Paul and Colleen. I wore my camo pants especially for the occasion because I thought Paul would like them.

On Saturday afternoon Ann got everything together so we could dye Easter eggs. I wasn't quite sure what was going on, but mom made me this great blue egg with my name on it.
On Easter morning we all got to open our Easter baskets. Ann made sure I got some good stuff, here I am reading my name card.
After we were done opening our baskets Chris taught me about Rambo by using the argyle ribbon that was on one of my presents. I'm so stylish aren't I?For brunch we went to the country club. It must have been fancy because mom made me wear a sweater vest and button down shirt. Here I am with Katie. Everyone seemed to think I was pretty great because I got passed around the table like a hot potato!
Here I am with mom and dad.

Happy Easter everyone!

Dog meets bunny.

Dog loves bunny.

Dog plays with bunny for almost 2 weeks (a record for dog).

Dog and bunny get in a fight.

Dog kills bunny.

The end.
